After looking at the last post I realized there weren't any pics of my hubby. BAD KIM! He always is nagging me that I don't take enough pics with him in them. So here you go.

Catching up with the Rauckmans

Wow, it's been way, way, way too long since I've updated this. No excuses. I guess I'm too busy being on Facebook these days. So for those of you out there on my case about this, here you go. Our family has been busy lately. We recently took a trip to southern Illinois to visit Jereme's grandma PG.("pretty grandma") We had a ton of fun catching up with the family and doing some fun things on the side. Jonah had a blast with the Easter egg hunt and ended up with way too much candy. He's still eating it to this day. On Easter, we got to see all of Jereme's family which was a blast.

We then took Jonah to the City Museum in St. Louis. It's kinda like a kids museum only I've never seen anything like this before. We spent probably 5 hours there. I'd recommend it to anybody. Way fun.

The last day we were there Jereme's uncle Jim arranged for Jonah to go to the Fire Station. He got to ride in a fire truck and hold the fire hose. They gave him a t-shirt and hat. He wore them the entire 8 hour car ride home.

Other than our little vacation Jereme and I are still busy with work and just everyday life. Jonah will turn 4 in July and Jack will be 1 in August. They grow way too fast. Jack started to crawl this week and is already getting into everything. I have a feeling he's gonna be a handful. It's all fun though. So now you're up to speed on the Rauckman family. Hope all of you are doing well.

Jack's Baptism and random pics

2 weeks ago Jack was Baptized. We chose to have my sister Kjerstin and Troy to be his God parents. My dad gave a very special gift and sang at it. He sang Children Of Our Heavenly Father. It meant so much. The whole fam came back to our house for lunch. It's always great to get both my family and Jereme's together. What a great day. Here are some other random pics of our family. The pic of Jack and I in matching outfits is one of my favorites. It was very random. I didn't plan to match him. We just happen to be wearing very similiar shirts. So I had to get a picture. I'll try to post more recent pics as soon as I can.

New pics

Jonah started preschool last week. He absolutely loves it! I can't believe he's old enough to be going to preschool. There is also a pic of cousins Jonah, Kambel, and Ruthie. For those who have been waiting for recent photos of Jack, here they are. He has been such a good baby and fits right into our family. We couldn't be happier!

Baby Jack is here!

We are super excited to announce the new arrival of Jack Thomas Rauckman. Born Aug. 20 @ 9:31 p.m. 9lbs. 50z. 20 1/2 in. Both mom and baby are doing well. Jack had a difficult time entering the world. 17 hours of labor, 3 hours of pushing. I ended up having an assisted vacuum delivery. Thank God that worked, otherwise the next step would have been a c-section. I guess I really know how to grow my babies big! Anyway, all was worth it and Jack is pefect. Big Brother Jonah loves his new brother. He's always kissing him and saying how cute he is. I can't believe I'm the mother of 2 boys. We are so blessed!

Baby update

Well, tomorrow I will be 38 weeks pregnant. I had a Dr. appt. today. I'm only dialated to 1 1/2 and 50% effaced. The baby is still really up high, I haven't dropped. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next monday. I also scheduled my induction date for Aug. 21st. Hopefully I'll go before that, but at least there is an end in sight. The Dr. thinks the baby is quite large, so pray it's not too enormous for my sake! I'll keep you updated.

Pregnant update

I am now 36 weeks pregnant. 4 weeks to go! The Dr. says I'm measuring 3 weeks bigger. She's suspecting this baby will be bigger than Jonah was. He was 8lbs.2oz. If I don't deliver before I'm 39 weeks, we will do an ultrasound. If the baby is near 9lbs. we will induce labor. So the waiting game is on. I hope I go early. I'm super uncomfortable and tired of being pregnant. I am still working full time at the point. We will see how I'm feeling after this week. So that's my update. I probably won't post anything new until I have the baby, hopefully soon. I'll keep you updated.
